Hi There,

I'm Meg, mom to 4 kids..see the signature!

Briefly, Alexis is 21 years old and studying to be a vet at some point. Right now she works as a Vet Tech in NJ near her father's home.
Jacob is 18 and about to graduate high school in NJ and will be attending Univ. of Vermont in the fall with a major in Biochemistry.

Elijah or Eli, is 5 years old and has autism. He attends Talbot's wonderful Pre-K and does RDI therapy and other therapies locally. Any other autism moms here? I have a blog that mainly focuses on him though I tend to forget to update it. Ask me if you want the url. We were on the local news a while ago so you might recognize us if you saw it.

Sophie Jane is 3 1/2 and smart as a whip. I help coordinate a preschool coop with some of my mom friends here locally and intend to homeschool for the time being. She already reads and does basic counting, but will not write stuff yet. I don't push education..the reading came from being read to and learning her letters on starfall.com which both my littles are addicted to.

Oh, about me..I'm 42, husband Tom is 43. We moved here from Atlanta nearly a year ago and he works in Palatka at the St. John's River Water Mag. District. We adore Gainesville...such a great place to live!! I'm a former (retired) LLL leader and try hard to live as naturally as possible..but I'm not uptight..very open minded!

Ok..now I'm looking forward to meeting some of you someday Big Grin

Nice to meet you! I am also a mom of four, and I also have an Eli. But it's just Eli. Not Elijah. Oh, and I am going through some challenges with breastfeeding right now, although I am determined with this one! Taking fenugreek right now, and waiting for my output to increase, which I hope will be soon.

Anyhow, welcome. So glad you could join us here!

Thanks ladies..Suzy, if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask or to contact the local LLL leaders here in town. I know them and they are wonderful moms!
