This is a sensitive subject for me as I was subjected to it for 18 years of my life by my dad. He was an amazing father but couldn't put down the cigs and truly believed that I was just whining and the smoke didn't really bother me. However, conclusive studies were just released that prove that children subjected to SHS had a dramatically increased risk of hospitalization, illness, and respiratory problems. Not to mention all the teasing I got for smelling like an ash tray for 18 years. Our air is bad enough to breath as it is...let's not make it any worse by surrounding our little ones in a cloud of toxins. Just a little soap-boxing...sorry.
