Hi. I thought I had done this already but I must have done it wrong. My family just moved here a few months ago. I have a 2 and 1/2 year old and just found out we're expecting another. I really need a reccommendation for a obgyn if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks!
I used Mclean, Ross and Alderman and I LOVED them. Mclean Ross & Alderman 6801 NW 9th Blvd #3 Gainesville, FL Obstetrics-Gynecology (352) 331-3234 And my doc was Kelly Ross...they were really great!
That's crazy! I myself just moved to Gainesville with my family too! I also have a son who is 2 1/2 and I have been trying to find pediatricians? any suggestions?
Welcome!!! I saw the post from Bishop about McLean, Ross, Alderman, and I regret to inform you that they do not do OB anymore. Only GYN and GYN surgery, for which I highly recommend them. I work as a nurse at NFRMC with these docs routinely. For OB, I would highly recommend Dr Brazzel and Muskus phone is 332-7222.
As for Luk.... there are several good pediatricians in the area. We personally see Dr. Kathy Sarantos, and her partners are great as well. Phone # is 335-8888.
I am currently expecting #2 and have been seeing Dr. Brazzel at North Florida Women's Physicians. I had my son in another state and loved my OB and was worried about finding a new one when we moved here but Dr. Brazzel and his nurses are fantastic!
Luk...we use the same pediatric group as mjkerkau (Alliance Pediatrics) and see Dr. Massias who is Dr. Sarantos' sister-in-law. We mostly are able to see Dr. Massias but we've also seen Dr. Sarantos and the nurse practitioners on occasion and everyone has been great.
I used Dr. Amy Million at North Florida Regional and she is AWESOME! So if you are going to use the Women's Center, I'd highly recommend her. Plus, I have a 3 year old girl and a baby if you are interested in play groups. Welcome to Gainesville! I'm sure you'll love it here.
