I don't know about any of you but I LOVE to cook. A long time ago my aunt introduced me to www.allrecipes.com and it is fantastic! I go there often to try new things and the thing I love about it is the fact that all the dishes are rated and those who have experimented with the good ones add their tips and findings so you don't have to "get it right next time." If you have a specialty I'd love to try it...

My favorite recipes website. It also has that "Add to your Shopping List" feature; and you can categorize your own recipe box, and change servings, all with just a keystroke. Love it! I live on that website (well, when I not on Gainesville Moms, of course Wink )!

I used to love to cook, but I just can't seem to find the time anymore to devote to it.
So I have gone back to the basic food groups....boxed, bottled, canned and frozen! And we do add some fresh produce and diary in there too. Oh, and absolutely no canned meat, must be fresh!

I love the Foodnetwork.com. My husband and I both LOVE to cook and watch the Food network for pure entertainment-sad I know. We are total foodies. Anyway, the food network has all of the recipes from the shows on the food network channel-Rachel Ray/Bobby Flay/Naked Chief etc.

<--- loooooooooooves food

The food network and their website are great and I have gotten some great recipes there, also bisquick.com has some great quickies that are FANTASTIC

I have a pretty big recipe box at both sites, and have tried most of them already. Mountains of cookbooks also.

I will have to check out that site. I am always up for new things, but we are mostly vegetarians and my hubby is so picky.

I also 'stumbled' on some website where you check all the different foods you have and it produces a list of possible meals you can make with it... however I can't find the link

My parents are vegetarians. I was raised a total vegetarian. When I got married it was hard as my husband was not into converting..so we have kind of met in the middle. We eat very healthy and mostly organic w/ very little red meat. We do eat fish and chicken a lot. Publix has the free range chicken and Northewst sea food is awesome! If you find that website, let me know...it sounds great!

This site has tons of vegetarian dishes. My in-laws are vegitarians and I cooked this great spinach quiche for them and a breakfast one with sausage for the rest and everyone was happy so search away for your fav meat-free dishes!

I love allrecipes.com! My favorite thing about it is being able to type in the things I have or things I don't have and have it give me recipes for those items. I use my recipe box on there all the time and found a lot of really good recipes on there.

sounds yummy, we like bring some of the recipe, cook like a half recipe, maybe try to even out the amount of dinners/apps/desserts ?

I'm game... maybe even include the kiddies....I wouldn't mind hosting for only a few hours at most..I assume we might have more than one if the idea takes off

I like allrecipes.com too. I find it hard to cook most night, just because by the time the four of us gets home we're hungry and need food right away -- we don't have 20-30 minutes to make something. That's why I love all their crockpot and casserole recipes. Anything that can be made the night before after the kids go to bed and heated up the next day is my favorite.
