For the 4th of July? We can make each others' dishes, and see how they turn out. Although, I always get a pass when it comes to anything cooked, though, right?

I think I might try that Chicken Grape Pasta Salad. I think it'd be fun to post recipes here and have others try them. (But, you have to post your tried and true, your favorite) recipes! Anyone want to join me?

I made the chicken grape pasta salad on Saturday for a friends birthday party and at least 10 people were asking who made it and how to make it. What a hit. Even my kids liked it!!!

Hi, I was shopping with my family this past weekend. One of the chocolate shops in St. Augustine had Rice Crispy Treats covered in white chocolate with red and blue sprinkles on it and it was on a stick. My 7 year old was very excited about this treat. We are going to make them together this weekend. Hope you can do this fun treat with your kids as well! Happy 4th! Smiler

I LOVE the chocolate shop in St. Aug. We always stop there when we visit.

One of my faves from Allrecipes.com:

Red, White and Blue Strawberry Shortcake
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Ready In: 50 Minutes
Yields: 18 servings

INGREDIENTS:
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 pint blueberries, rinsed and drained
2 pints fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced

DIRECTIONS:
1. Prepare cake according to package directions and bake in a 9x13 inch pan. Cool completely.
2. Frost cake with whipped topping. Place blueberries in a square in the corner, and arrange sliced strawberries as stripes to make an American flag. Chill until serving.
