I have a serious craving, but don't want to drive ALL the way across town like I used to (before gas prices shot up.) Who has a favorite sushi place in Gainesville?

I have not tried it yet, however I heard there is a great place on Newberry past the Kmart. I just heard this from a co-worker of my DH. I will ge the name and let you know-DH could not recall it when asked. It was touted by the co-worker as the best in town. We are HUGE Sushi fans Smiler.

I'm sure she was talking about Fuji Sushi out next to the Jonesville Publix, it is awesome. I thought that it would be a little scary trying sushi from a place in a strip mall but it is by far the best sushi I have had. And their presentation is beautiful. Yum yum

My husband and I love Ichiban. My husband loves sushi so we eat there often. They are kid friendly and decently priced.

They are over by Las Margaritas.

Love, love, love sushi! I don't eat it nearly as much as I'd like to. I actually craved it during both my pregnancies -- even though according to some it's on the "no" list. We like, of course, Dragonfly dowtown and Sushi Matsuri in Butler Plaza. But I'll definitely have to try the place out in Jonesville ASAP.
