So...I started walking while I was in Orlando ...and nearly after two weeks, I lost 3lbs. I had already lost 20lbs prior to that but that was due to lack of funds to buy food.

I enjoy my walks although I don't find it safe since there are NO walkways or sidewalks, so I stay near my place.

For some reason, I missed my walk this morning so I'm going to go do it this evening before it gets dark.

Anyone need a walking partner? I enjoy my music but it will be more fun to have someone to talk to while walking.

I finally have entered my 36th week of pregnancy! Yea! I was an avid runner prior to this and am really hoping to start some sort of exercise soon after the baby is born, but we will see how the body feels after giving birth, adjusting to a new life, and lack of sleep. However, I have always enjoyed walking with people and there are a few great places around Gainesville to do so. I'm not sure how good of a walking partner I would be at the moment, but we could always try.

I hope you find a walking partner, Dee. I dont want to have to worry about you walking all alone out there!

Well shame on me...I missed several days of walking and thought I had someone who would walk with me this evening and she disappeared on me.

So yes, I kept my part of the deal and walked as it got darker..but I had a walking stick with me and did a shorter walk.

so I'm going to start walking daylight time again....just need a partner to be on the safe side (seeing where I live is not the greatest area!).
