2 boys, ages 2 and 3 1/2 |
Our family went to the Newberry Corn Maze today. Our boys are 2 and 3 1/2 and they had an incredible time. The entire place feels like such a family oriented and fun-loving place. The kids loved (really, really loved) the cow train and the woman driving the tractor was so kind to the children. The corn box was fun for them--like a sand box with corn instead of sand. They rolled in the corn numerous times. The maze was larger than I expected and we had a fun time working our way through the field. The boys also loved the hay ride and feeding the cows. Our youngest son was just shaking with excitement about feeding the cows and the older one started singing "Old McDonald" as we rode on the hay. I liked that it was still "kid friendly" until dark so that my very young children could enjoy the events for quite a while. I kinda wished we could stay later because I was curious about just how haunted the maze becomes. I feel like this place is a great deal for the money--one price is an admission to all the fun. Our only regret today was that we forgot the camera, so maybe we will have to take another trip out there to get some great photos of the kids having fun
