Can anyone recommend any classes or groups for new mommies?

Not sure where you delivered, but I went to the one at North Fl...they have you come at a day and time with other moms who have babies the same age. You can call L&D (I think) and they can tell you what day and time

Suzy - I went when I first had DS - it was great. They have 2 classes; one for babies 2-8 weeks and another for babies 9-16 weeks. It meets every Tuesday - they provide lunch and usually a speaker. I had such a good time - it was so nice to meet other mommies and talk about things that we were all going through with our new LO's. I think the time is 11:30, but I can't say for sure. Have fun - I met so many nice ladies!

The postpartum luncheons at North Florida are great. I went after my first child was born 5 yrs ago and have been getting together weekly with the same group of moms. We just clicked and we have really been there for each other. They used to be on Tuesdays at 11:30, lunch provided.
