So, how was the March for Babies? It was today, right?

Thanks for asking! How is your little one? Did his temp become regulated?

His temp has been okay for the last few days, although the doctor called for more blood work on Friday. The first draw was for a CBC, which came back normal. The second draw at the doc's office, they said they didn't get enough specimen; and so they sent us to NFRMC for a third draw. And they called Friday to say that they still didn't get enough blood even though we saw them take 2 vials!
They asked me to bring his back on Friday. But since his temp was okay, I didn't. I mean, here he is, a week old, and he's been stuck two times for the same thing and needlessly. So, I wanted to let his little body rest a bit. We have to go back for our follow up on Monday, and I'm sure they will draw more blood then. It is super frustrating! I don't understand how they could not have enough blood unless they lost it or something. |

Oh, and did you meet your goal for your walk?

We did pretty good for just the two of us. We set our goal at $200 and we turned in $360. I would consider that successful.

No. I didn't even think to take my camera. And right now, my knees hurt so bad I can't kneel or squat down.

Well, we are hurting together, then. I don't know why I thought a yard sale would be a good idea, and I had no idea I would be hurting this much because of it. I feel like I got a serious workout. Next year sounds like a plan!

Good grief! Did I type "U" there? I meant "I" Some days my brain works better than others, and with aching joints and a sick baby, yesterday was not a "working brain" day. I totally meant "I" there. I just reread what I typed last night, and was mortified that I typed "U" there. Please forgive me for being an idiot! On the other hand, I have never had a yard sale and I have so much baby stuff that I don't know what to do with. I have given away tons, but I wouldn't mind making some money off of all of this stuff! |

Haha. I figured you meant that I could bring a camera and that I would be in better shape next year...hehe. That's okay. Trust me, though, I will be in better shape next year!! But, I feel you on the brain thing. Sometimes I feel like I am losing it, but I think that is a mom thing
