I feel like I just can't think straight. I forget everything. So, is this just a myth or is it real? Any one care to weigh in?

It's real! Our brains shrink during pregnancy! I've read several articles on studies and if I remember right...our brains shrink like, 8% or something during pregnancy. Don't hold me to the numbers though...after all, I'm pregnant too!

YES!!! This is so real! I forget things I would never forget and am not usually a forgetful person. My husband thinks I am just preoccupied with more thoughts than usual thanks to baby but I think it's something more. Many studies suggest iron deficiency, hormones, stress and the afore-mentioned brain shrinkage all contribute to this phenomenon. Whatever it is I hope it ends soon or I won't have any friends with all my birthday and dinner forgetting!
