Let's all congratulate Carrie, who just found out she is pregnant!!! I didn't want this to get buried on the boards so I started a new thread. CONGRATS!!!

"I have had 2 natural, out of the hospital births and been at 4 other natural births, and yes, when someone says natural, it typically means without meds of any type and with free movement.

On a second note, I found out this morning that I am finally (after more than a year of trying) pregnant again. I have already been emailing a midwife at the Midwives Cooperative and am planning on a homebirth for this one, which is as natural as it can get. I am so excited. It's my first PLANNED baby.

Look at you! You could have edited that message so it made a little bit of sense out of context. lol. Anyways, I am so excited. Of course, my husband is already stressing out. I am going to go up to the school my mom works at to tell her in about 45 minutes. I figure I owe her some good news today (hopefully she will think her 9th grandchild is good news), since I took her bad news yesterday (a person she had worked with at her previous school died).

The funniest thing about it is that I am due at the end of November. My oldest was born in the beginning of November, and my sister has 2 born in November. When she figured it out this morning, she said we needed another one at the end of November, so we can have a birthday per week in November.

I hope it sticks though. Neither of the other two kids were planned in anyway. In fact, I was trying to leave my exhusband when I got pregnant with my daughter, and I had just met my current husband when I got pregnant with my son. But, even if it doesn't, at least I know I can get pregnant again. Like I said, we had been trying for nearly a year and a half with no luck at all.

Anyways, done rambling for now.

I think my mom is more un-thrilled about the fact that tomorrow is her 50th birthday. She wasn't particularly not thrilled or thrilled, but she said she was happy if I was happy. She has some perception of me not liking kids for whatever reason, despite the fact that I left a job to stay home with my kids and before that went to part-time to watch my sister's kids.

For whatever reason, mom is feeling old, so combine her birthday tomorrow with the news of her 9th grandchild...she thinks she isn't young anymore (and yet she is going snorkeling for spring break in the Dry Tortuguas).

Anyway, I have to get back to work.
