They're cute. I picked up a pair - only found one in my size. But there was a rack full at JC Penney. They were originally $45.

Was it a sale just for yesterday or all weekend? I need some jeans and $4.99 is right up my alley, although I can never find anything that fits.

It was until they are gone. And why can't you find anything that fits? Is everything too big for you? You are tiny!

Thanks, but that really isn't the case. My clothes do a good job at hiding unwanted bulges. Plus I'm short so most things I have to have himmed. The last jeans I found that fit really nice were Lucky brand from Buckle in the mall and I am ashamed to say how much I paid for them. I bought two pair and that was a year and a half ago. My husband nearly died when we got to the register so I can't tell him that I want more jeans. Anytime I say that I need new clothes for this or that, he cringes. Big Grin

I know all about Lucky jeans...just haven't been LUCKY enough to pick up a pair. They do cost a pretty penny but I have heard from women that they are well worth it if you can afford it. I know that I saw a petite rack of $4.99 items, but honestly, I didn't even see what was on that rack. I am anything but petite, haha.

I think the only reason that I got my Lucky jeans is because my husband was proud of me for getting back to my "before baby weight." Wink Now that I am only working two days a week (and hopefully soon I will be home full-time), I don't see anymore Luckys' in my future! And that is a trade-off that I will definitely take! Those name-brand days for Mom are gone. (at least for a little while)

You know what? You just totally motivated me. I have wanted a pair of Luckys for forever. That's it...I'll have to make that my splurge for when I reach my pre-pregnancy weight. That will be my gift to meSmiler And I'm sure hubby won't mind that splurge if it means I am losing my baby weight.

Lucky Jeans, here I come...heh.

Glad I could help! They really are worth it. I guess I will have to have another baby to get another pair. Wink

My favorite jeans are actually from Old Navy...although they just decided to "name" all their jeans so now I have to go back and figure out which ones they are! I like them because I can buy them in short length (I'm only 5'4). I used to buy guy's jeans just because I could buy them in length!

I also LOVE Limited jeans. But I usually wait for the sales. They have great long jeans for moms with long legs like meWink But they only go up to a size 12, like that mean lady told me at the Limited right after I had my last baby. Right now, I am in a size 14...but not for too long.

You carry a 14 very well. I would have never guessed that.
I have never even shopped at The Limited. Why? I don't know.
I like Old Navy too. Their clothes seem to run a little big so they make me feel smaller than I really am. Wink

Well, I HAVE to wear a 14 because of my belly. Yuck! My belly still has all the baby fat from the baby. But, I am tall, about 5'9' and I usually am pretty lean. I normally wear a 10, but on my figure, if I am wearing a 10, then I am in good shape. All this talk about sizes, how depressing.

By the way, how do the Lucky Jeans run as far as sizes and fit?

These Luckys are size 6 / 28"waist and they are a little big now. They're about right. Of course in Old Navy I would be a size 4, but in other things I would be a 9. I will take the size 6. Big Grin

Suzy - it sounds like we're about the same size (I was a 14 after my 3rd was born due to my belly, but am now about an 8). I'm 5'8" and need longer jeans, too. I do have a couple pairs of Lucky's and they do fit nicely. Although I like Joe's Jeans because they have a bit higher rise in the back (no plumber crack!) Have you looked at Sandy's Consignment store? They seem to have a decent selection of designer jeans for cheap. I recently got a pair of Sevens for only $15 there.
