I am so sick and tired of my hair coming out by the handful every time I take a shower. I remembered this happening after my last pregnancy, but this baby is 8 months old now. Anyone know of anything that helps? This is definitely my least favorite postpartum symptom. What's yours?

This is going to sound really crzy..but my hair does that when it needs trimmed. I dont know what it is..my mom is a hair stylist and she always knows when I have waited too long for a trim b/c my hair comes out by the handfuls. Yet once I get a cut and get all the dead ends off its ok. I know that sounds really crazy..but a good cut, wash, and cond always takes care of that problem for me

Oh, yeah, I remember the hair falling out! It drove my husband nuts with my hair all over the place (especially the shower). Thankfully I have a lot of hair.

My least favorite post-partum symptom was the Jello belly! (Um, does 3 years later still count as "post partum" or is that just for being out of shape?)

I've had thinning hair for years. It's like male pattern baldness, but not as severe. Shorter styles make is less obvious. I've also heard it could be a mineral or vitamin deficiency. I'm researching that info right now and am going to start a regimen to see if if makes a difference. Postpartum was the worst, but I have a general problem I need to address.
