Mine are 7 (daughter) and 3...neither of whom have had a haircut! My daughter it doesn't matter that much..she likes having long hair...with the little man...it's getting ridiculous. I didn't cut it originally because her got my curly hair...but only at the very bottom and it was too cute...now it's just too long! My hubby keeps saying he will cut it...not sure i trust him though...haha

well..i feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one feeling kind of sad about it! It's funny, with my daughter I never saw her getting a haircut as a big deal (even though she hasn't had one...haha) but thinking about him cutting off his little curls actually does make me a little sad!

That is me too! My boys end up with buzz cuts. Quick, cheap, easy, and looks nice.

I tried cutting my boy's hair myself and completely messed it up. I made his head look lop-sided -- so I ended up having to take him to the barber anyways. I've been able to take him to the family-owned barber shop that my dad and brother have gone to for 30 years -- unfortunately it's in South Florida. But if anyone knows a good place in Gainesville, let us know.

I take my son to Susan at HairHunters at the Hunter's Crossing Plaza. She is really quick and gives him a great cut... He's been getting it cut since he was a year old (it should have been sooner but we waited). He has to have a cut about once a month since it grows sooo quickly. I would definitely recommend her, she is very patient and you can tell she's experienced with squirmy little ones

I always break out the clippers(buzz cutter). Since he turned one he gets a quick 7/8" cut all around! I use to take him to my barber but it wasn't working out and coming out lop sided.

Doubt I will ever do more than trim my daughters until she chooses otherwise. I had a different live in that gave me good tips for cutting girls hair/bangs.

My oldest daughter goes to my hair dresser b/c she is getting older and wants "style" when she has it done. My boys go to Fades and Fros off of 6th street. It is a little tiny place but they give PERFECT hair cuts.

This is where I am blessed to have a mom who knows how to cut hair. She's be doing it for over 30 years, but only does it on occasion since she is employed by the state now.
She was a lifesaver when my kids decided to play hairdresser 2 summers in a row and cut off all my daughter's hair!
