I went to the mall today to get a couple things I needed for an upcoming business trip and was amazed at the deals! Some of the stores w/ the best sales were, Gap & BabyGap/Kids(additional 25% off the already marked down price- the selaction was great and the original mark downs were good to begin with). I found 3 T-shirts for myself at Gap for 5.94 each! Bananna Republic had an awesome sale! Ann Taylor Loft & Ann Taylor also ahd amazing deals. Do not go if you are trying to save money...I did not plan on buying more than I needed for this trip and ended up w/ a bit extra-the deals were way too good to pass up!

LEW,
I love sales. I avoid paying full price for clothes, if I can help it. Too bad it's my pay-all-the-bills week. Sigh. |

Yeah< I found great deals at the Limited.
I got two shirts for 6.99 that were originally 40.00. One for 14.99 that was originally 45.00. So that make for happy shopping. |

Skip the 4th of July sales and head to the sales racks tucked neatly away in all the major stores! In Wal-mart, head to the ends of the aisles (near the walls). That's where all the sale items are placed. The same goes with Tar-get; just walk the inside permeter of the store and you'll find good stuff at great prices. Target also has bedding/bath items on clearance throughout those sections.
Earlier today I bought 3 PlayStation2 games for 75% off at Target (they're Christmas gifts for our son). I also found a 12-can soft-sided cooler complete with pockets and lots of freeze gel for just $5.00. In the boy's section (near the wall, but not the store's perimeter), I got a pair of boy's PJ's for under $5.00. At Wal-mart, I bought boys' and teen's soccer/sports t-shirts (100% thick cotton) for $3.00 each. I have learned to look for clearance items as opposed to sale items. I just had to learn where each store places those items. As for Sam's Club, always look for the item sign ending with the number 1. Anything with a 1 at the end of the price is a clearance item. Recently, I bought full-size rolls of Seran Wrap for 21 cents each (I bought 10 packages). I am kicking myself for not buying more. When you really need it and it's a bargain, it feels GREAT! Happy Shopping! |

California 3 boys (6.5, 5, and 3) |
I wanted to go to the mall last night, but by time I was able to leave the house, it was too late (they close at 9:30 I think). But last week I got a t-shirt at Gap for around $6, and I went to Old Navy and they had their shorts 50% off so I got some for around $10 each. I really need some more new summer clothes. I'm heading to St. Augustine tomorrow to visit some friends, so maybe I'll make it to the outlet mall and hopefully there will be some really good deals

I love the summer sales in FL due to the fact you can wear the clothes for another4-5 months before it gets cold and even after it gets cold, we will be breaking out the summer clothes a few months later!

NW Gainesville 3 boys (3 years, 1 year, 8 months) and a step-mom and step-grandma, too! |
And don't forget the Goody's going out of business sale...I was there late yesterday, and everything was 40% - 60% off, plus an additional 10% over the weekend. Everything is going fast now...but still very, very little selection for my three little guys. Lots of little girls clothes. Did find some short and a shirt for hubby, and some pant and tops for me. Good deals!
