I'm just curious what kind of jeans you all wear. The description for this forum made me think of the classic SNL skit about Mom Jeans (LOL).
I swear by a $70 pair of Lucky jeans I bought 4 years ago, they are the BEST!! Of course, $70 is an exorbitant price, but considering that they've lasted over 4 years and make my butt look bountifully perky, they were worth every penny. I also have a $25 Old Navy pair I fall back on. |

Lucky Jeans are great! I have completely worn mine out! I also bought a pair of Michael Kors,(on sale), at Macy's. They are my favorite right now! They are so comfortable and make you feel like you are not really wearing jeans.

I am not particular to brands, but I like the ones that ride low on the waist, not completely hip huggers though. And the wider legs, not tappered. Or ones that flare out a bit at the bottom.
Now, when it comes to shorts, I am lost on what to wear, lol. Tammy Architect major @SFCC, working my butt off to get into UF. |

I LOVE that SNL skit! Anytime I need a good laugh, I watch it on youtube. My goal is to stay very, very far away from anything with tapered legs!! Please tell me who can get away with wearing jeans like that...and still look good?
Oh, and I love jeans from The Limited! <a href="http://lilypie.com"><img src="http://b1.lilypie.com/NzoMm7.png" alt="Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker" border="0" /></a> |

I know what you mean about the tappered legs. I look at pictures of myself in the them before I knew better, and I can't help but think how bad it looks!
I can't help but think to myself that I look like a giant ice cream cone in them!! LOL Tammy Architect major @SFCC, working my butt off to get into UF. |

ok ladies, we are showing just how not cool we are becoming. what we are calling tapered legs are now referred to as skinny jeans. my pencil thin teenager wears them. usually with a shirt that looks like a maternity top! i asked her what was the deal, super skinny jeans and and then an empire waist tent top...she just looked at me and shook her head as to say, mom you just don't understand...
but she did look to cute this morning...oh to be that young and beautiful again... |

Ha! That's great. Well, I think that when moms wear them, we call them tapered. I don't think I've ever seen a pair of "skinny" mom jeans. When the teens wear them, we call them skinny jeans. I don't know. But, what constitutes a pair of mom jeans?
You know you're wearing a pair of mom jeans when... Anyone care to finish the thought? <a href="http://lilypie.com"><img src="http://b1.lilypie.com/NzoMm7.png" alt="Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker" border="0" /></a> |

I think mom jeans go higher on the waist, but not all moms wear them.
Skinny jeans are just that for skinny ppl my thighs look CRAZY huge in them so I stay away from them, but I think it's the younger crowd that can get away with them, those that haven't quite hit puberty and expanded just yet. |

For curvier ladies like myself, Lane Bryant has the best jeans right now. I told my sis they are like a "butt bra" in that they take what you have and form it into something HOT... even if in the dressing room you mistook your booty-in-the-mirror for a cottage cheese factory.
Anyhow... that's my favorite. The new fit at LB. |

Oh, I can SO not pull off skinny jeans! They make me look like a funnel. Big and wide at the top and small at the bottom. So wrong, in so many ways!!!

Well, I've been enlightened. I'm embarrassed to admit I'd never heard the term "mom jeans" before. Therefor, I probably own a pair (or 3
