No $4.99 jeans for me. I ended up going to Old Navy and buying shorts instead. Oh well! I think I will try Sandy's. I just sold some baby clothes there.

Sigh...I do love shopping...for anything except bathing suits. The only way you can shop for a bathing suit and survive is to get good and drunk first. And I've done just that one or twice in the past.

I like JC Penney's. They usually have pretty good sales, and stuff for women of my age and size. Fifteen years ago, I could dress to keep up with my step-daughters..and I did, believe it or not! (Don't snicker, now)! But now, I just want to feel comfortable, and look all right and not go broke in the process. Can I get a witness?

I despise shopping right now. I think most newly postpartum women do. And about Sandy's, I haven't been there in a while. How are their prices these days? I used to go there all the time when I was a little girl. They used to be on University Avenue way back in the day...

I despise shopping right now because of my age. All I can find are things that tiny teenage girls are wearing (that don't leave much to the imagination) or things that look good on my grandmother. There doesn't seem to be a happy medium. And especially because I'm short. I like the dressy Bermuda shorts, but they look like capris on me. Ha!Ha! I did find some decent length shorts at Old Navy yesterday, so I'm happy. I will worry about jeans in October I guess!
