Hi everyone. I have family coming to visit and I was looking for a restuarant to go to. Someting mid-priced, decent sized menu, nice atmosphere, and somewhat kid-friendly. We'll being going early so my son should be fine pretty much anywhere.Maybe somewhere downtown? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Sonny's definately. Satchels is OK, but kind of crowded and loud unless you eat outside where it's hot. Personally, I like I Love NY Pizza on 23rd, and they have a buffet that is really reasonable and kids may eat free. Strangely, the last time I went, there was no pizza on the buffet, but delicious Italian pasta, chicken caccatore, spaghetti marinara, and other pasta dishes. I have never had anything bad there. Big Lou's on Main and 4th ave is also really good although parking is a pain. Harry's is good in a mid range priced place. Alot of these places have a kids eat free night so check before you go. Also, I find that alot of times, the kids portion is HUGE so I split it between my 2 kids.
I would have to agree with Sonny's. But I love New York Pizza in Haile Publix shopping center is the best and MUCH better than the one on 23rd. The 23rd new york pizza on the buffet is mainly pasta and no pizza. I ordered pizza and was very disappointed in the amount of toppings they limited on the slice. There owned by different people. On monday nites you can get GREAT deals on large cheese pizzas and there meun items are unfortgetable! Everytime I am in town, thats where I go. You can also get pizza slices in many different toppings Also there quite a few chinese all you can eat buffets in town too. I once eat at one off of 13th street. Tons of choices, food was very good too.
