I like going to Country Way in Newberry! Every year they have the sheriff's department block all of the entrances to the subdivision and you have to walk through. It makes you feel very safe! We only went two block and were loaded with candy!!

I take my kids trick-or-treating in my northeast Duckpond neighborhood on Halloween and it's not bad, but I would also recommend going to Ghouls, Goblins and Greeks on Thursday the 30th. It starts around 5 and goes til 7:30 or 8 on East Panhellenic and West Panhellenic Drives (just off 13th St and SW 8th Ave-south of Norman Hall). Totally free--each sorority's new member class decorates their yard with a different theme and they have games at each house in addition to trick or treating. I've been a sorority advisor for a long time and have always taken my kids to this--it's safe and they love all the attention the sorority girls give them!

Hey C Dawg! I hope it's you! Smiler Oh my goodness your little boy is so precious! You should take him to JAM FAM NITE for Halloween. It's from 6pm-9pm and it's fun for the whole family. There will be lots of free rides, games and candy etc. It's at The ROCK Church Soccer field and it's so much fun every year and safe. Smiler 9818 SW 24th ave. You know where it's at but if anyone else wants to join the fun come on out. There's been commercials on tv for it and you can see more details at Link
Hope to see you there C! Miss you mucho mucho!

I think softballmom told us she's doing trick-or-treating out at the Newberry Corn Maze from 4-6 p.m. as well.

We're just doing the big Halloween party at day care then going to one or two friends' houses and calling it a night! Boo at the Zoo is great for little ones though, if you don't want to fight through a neighborhood.

We are doing Boo at Zoo on Friday, Thursday is Ghouls, Goblins and Greeks, and Wednesday is Sesame Street Live. Saturday is family photos and the FL-GA game. We are going to have a busy week and we have a Birthday party on Sunday.

We will be out of town trick-or-treating this year. My daughter really wants to be with her cousins.

But on Thursday night we are also going to sorority row. Every house has a theme with games, prizes and lots of candy. There was also free pizza the past two years.
