This will make me so sad if they have one of the character die. I'll be mad at the writers...just send her off to an island somewhere, living happily ever after. I only like happily ever after stories!

It's gotta be Samantha, right, from the breast cancer she was fighting in the last season...although I'm with you...I'll hate it if any of them dies...

Oh, I agree, and now that I think about it...they can't...they just can't kill off one of the main characters...maybe Stanford is the one? I read that whomever it is, it "hit Carrie really hard" and that it definitely was one of the SATC characters, so it's not someone "off-screen" like a parent. What do you think?

I think I will be super mad if it is one of the main characters. I mean, I feel like I have sort of been on a journey with them and if one of them dies in the movie, I will not be happy with it. Like I said before, I like happily ever after endings...

I also think that if someone dies, they would make it a main character...meh.

Hey, speaking of SATC, for those followers of the show, when the movie comes out, it might make for a good "Mom's Day Out"! What's does everyone think?

Now, I have not been to an adult (well, you know what I mean) movie since Titanic...no kidding, I have not. Because 1) hubby and I cannot agree on what to see and 2) I hate paying what movies cost these days (ticket prices, popcorn, sodas)...but SATC would be worth it, with a group of gals that would enjoy as much as I would. Either that, or wait until it comes out on DVD, everyone meet at someone's house, and have "Mom's Night In", watching the movie, drinking cosmopolitans, etc., etc.

Anyone good to go?

When I first saw the preview, I said "It looks like Big dies"

Just a gut response to the preview.

In any event, I SERIOUSLY doubt they will kill off one of the four ladies. That would just be silly. Now having Big die and Carrie has to re-evaluate her life and go back to the dating scene older and wiser... that seems much more plausible.

No, it just can't be Big.. Frowner....I mean, even though I kinda wished she'd ended up with Aiden back during the orignal run, Big sorta grew on me more as I watched the TBS re-runs...

BTW, did anyone see that humungous hair scrunchy picture of SJP during some of the photos that leaked out during shooting? What's up with that? That was the ugliest thing I think I ever saw! Eeker

I can't bear the idea of one of them dying either..I love them all!

If we do a mom's night out for this movie, I'm in. My husband hates this show and how much I like it!

I read the blurb in the GVL Sun about how they age gracefully in the movie...Carrie and Big in bed, not getting hot and heavy, but instead, needing glasses to be able to read in bed. That's such a sad start to the movie. I mean, that's my life...I live like that...why would I want to see that on the big screen, LOL?

But I've still got to see the movie anyways..just gotta know who buys the farm! Smiler

I read a story with the Michael Patrick King (the writer and executive producer) who wouldn't confirm if anyone dies, but was quoted saying "It's a summer movie? Why would I want to kill anyone?"

I'll be at the theater the day it opens!
