There is a costume contest today and all kinds of fun things all weekend. If you are going to go pm me because I will be there Sat. and Sunday and we could meet up.

I am going Karen and I beleive I am going on Saturday. I'm trying to talk to Tim in going but he may stay home for a bit. Hopefully I'll see u tommarrow.

I had the chance to go hear Karen sing at the Fair. It was awesome. Of course, there were alot of good singers there. I had wish I could stay longer to hear her best friend sing. I had plan to until Tim called.

I will upload the pictures and hopefully the video so you can hear her sing. It was awesome (ok I know I said that, but just can't say it enough).

When I left, they were on #9. Karen was #3 and her friend was #20.

I think you will enjoy it more then just 19 seconds of it.

Well we (my best friend and singing partner and I) didn't win the karaoke contest. But we did win the trophy and prize for Best Gospel Singers in Levy County!!

We even handed our CD out to a few local churches so that maybe we will begin to get some more exposure!!

YAY Karen (and group)!!!!! WOO-WOO-WOO!!! That is fabulous news!! We can all say we knew you when..... one day when you are a big star! That's amazing and I am really happy for you. Too bad about the karaoke, but it doesn't matter because you're a winner in our book!!

That's wonderful Karen! You may have already mentioned this, but what is the name of your group?

We are 'Ascending Praise'. We had so much fun this weekend!! I met a bunch of new people from area churches and we passed out some of our CD's too.

Wow, Karen, that's great!! I'd love to hear you sing some time.

Maybe you can give us a mini concert sometime at one of the field trips.

The next time we are singing near or in Gainesville I will post about it and anyone interested in coming can pm me for details. Also we are getting ready to send our CD and a letter of introduction out to area churches so if anyone is interested in having special music at your church just pm me with your churches address and I will include them in our mail out so they can hear us and read a bit about us too! Then they can decide if they would like us to come.

Karen-I thnk that is great that you all are marketing your group. I think this is going to be wonderful way to promote your ministry.
