Well I haven't seen it yet. But I did go and see Mama Mia and loved it! It will have you singing ABBA songs the rest of the afternoon.

Scott took Friday off and we went that afternoon before the weekend crowd rushed in. I loved it, but it is a bit too dark for young children (in my opinion!) Heathe Ledger did a great job playing the Joker.

The movie itself is great, but Heath Ledger is deserving of all the praise he has been getting -- and more! Hard to believe its the same pretty boy from A Knight's Tale. Truly an amazing piece of acting.

But it is far too dark and violent for small children. And there are a few moments that are downright scary, even for grown ups. Great film.

I'm going to see it in IMAX this weekend, I'm SO excited! Partly because of the movie, partly for a break from the kids. Big Grin

Hubby and I saw it on Saturday...our first date away from the baby. I didn't like it. It was just too dark. No joy/happiness/uplifting anywhere to be found and I left with a heavy feeling. I'm a fan of happy endings and I think there is so much darkness in this world I like a little lighter taste for my films. It was well made with excellent acting--the script was just too full of downers for me. Sorry.
