Would anyone be interested in getting together to do some scrapbooking? We could meet at one of the scrapbooking places. I just know that I'll never do it unless I set some time aside to do it...Just a thought.

Confession...I know nothing about scrapbooking. Most of my pictures of my DD are all on CDs. We have a few printed off, but I know I need to print off all of them. I have seen some beautiful scrapbooks that my step-mother has done, but I have never attempted.

I find that scrapbooking is one of the most relaxing hobbies to do. It also helps you find your creative and artistic side.

I have purchased a number of scrapbook pages,etc...etc..online, some come as PDF (digital scrapbook) so it can be printed up. I have not printed them up so I'm not sure how much ink or paper is used. but I'll be glad to share them with you, if interested.

You can order things from online for reasonable prices (less then retail stores), but some of the local retails stores that have some of the cutest things for scrapbooks is Michaels, Joannes, Walmart, another place I think its call Flemingo's, its on the 2nd floor of the Oak plaza behind Starbucks off of Newberry road.

From my experience, they all have a wide variety of items for scrapbooks, Michaels has the most other than the Flemingo store. However, Walmart and Joannes has reasonable prices.

there is a place online I had ordered with sale items that has really kept me busy is: www.scrapbook.com.
You can take classes at the Flemingo Scrapbook place. I think it is one day a month, and I think its free too.

I know it can be "expensive" but I can assure you, it is so much fun to be creative with your photos. Create little stories with them. Collect cute personal things too.

I took my grandniece to the butterfly rainforest, so now we are going to do a scrapbook on the butterfly trip. We are also doing one on her SeaWorld trip too. she is only 3, going on 4, but she loves working on her scrapbook with me.

Once u get the jit of it, it is also fun to do simple fun scrapbook with your kids. they love those stickers!

Don't forget there is also Scrapblog-you can be creative with scrapbooks/photos online too. I normally use www.scrapblog.com but there are a few other nice n'cute places as well.

Suggestion: For all ya Disney fans, and would like to scrapbook your Disney trips with your kids, most of the local stores does have the Disney scrapbook kits.

But here is a link for some sales right now at Create Memories that may interst you:

http://www.creativememories.com/MainMenu/Our-products-a...ervices/New-Products

If you are a first timer in scrapbooking, even at Wal-mart has kits to use, most local stores do. Its a good simple way to start.

Creative memories also has software to download to do online and then print them up.

Have fun shopping!

ooohhh, ooohhh, count me in....I'm with Suzy, the originator of this post...if I don't actually have a scheduled, set-aside time to do it, it never gets done. So if we could schedule something for however often, show me where to sign up! This year would be difficult for me to host a party, but next year, after our house renovations are (hopefully) complete, I'd love to host one now and again.

Looking forward to it!
