We can talk football just like the guys!

Will Tim rise to the occasion? Did you hear his passionate speach after last game? I think he feels like he has to carry the team poor guy. We have some great runningbacks so Tim's not rushing as much but I think he may need to start again unless...he doesn't want to get hurt because he wants to go pro but he said he would finish school but you never know!

So...give me your score predictions.

Mine:
UF: 45
Arkansas:21

I am the only one who saw MANY bad calls in the UF/Arkansas game today? From the ball placement on the 1yd line when the Ark guy clearly stepped into the endzone - there was a divot for crying out loud! - to the guy who claimed he wasn't down since he landed on our player so he ran more - I saw a hand on the ground and a foot go well over the sideline directly in front of their bench. (I love DVR and the rewind feature) Not to mention the numerous holdings that they were not called for but we sure got nailed on them!

Sorry - I get a bit 'into it' with these games and have learned to send the kids to another room to watch the game. I know, we won so who cares - but it is the principle.

I actually wasn't able to watch the game today Frowner. But I am very glad to hear the Gators won, especially after last weekend!

You rock Michelle. You might be related to me cause I love my sports and there was penalty after penalty in the game and it was quite one-sided.

Thanks Mary! Smiler I admit that I get carried away sometimes (we have the 'bad call brick' and I have my own penalty flag - both were taken awa from me recently) but it is such fun! Plus after a week of "life" who couldn't use a couple hours of screaming and jumping?

Let's see how the LSU game goes - we're having a cookout and people over to watch so it may get quite animated.

Woo-Hoo!! Great game, great friends and great food (I kinda outdid myself there). There were still some bad calls, not as many as the ARK game, but I know at least one touchdown for LSU was not earned as the knee was down on the 1.5 yard line before the second effort to cross the plane was made, but we still kicked their butts so I will let that go....sort of. I am still not sure about that call to begin the second half when LSU was flagged for delay of game - I didn't know the game was "started" until the ball was kicked off so how is there a delay??

Good thing I made all the yummies, we also did shots for scores and if you watched, you know how many times we scored (can anyone tell me, I'm a little fuzzy on the count) and we even decided on only TDs by the second half! The fun of having a football party at home!

I am quite surprised at having Kentucky for a homecoming opponent, but bring 'em on!!

At the last minute, we drove to Jacksonville to watch the game w/ some dear friends! There were kids there our kid's ages and we just all had so much fun watching the game and watching the kids play. What a relaxing day!

I agree. What an awesome game!! We actually watched it from a hotel room lol We went to Orlando yesterday to visit Shamu. We didn't plan on staying the night, but my hubby was really getting bummed he was missing the game - even though we were recording it.

We found a really good deal on a hotel, he got to watch the game, and we got to spend another day in Orlando!

So is anyone else hoarse after the Gators chomped them "dawgs"? I could hear my neighbors laughing everytime I would yell at the TV or celebrate (it was a beautiful day so we opened the front door and back sliders) and a few "Go Gators!" came back at me! Even in Publix this morning, I got a round of Go Gators' almost every aisle and the post office was about the same.

I was getting a bit miffed with the announcers claiming we "got away with one" for things that were not infractions but when GA was not flagged for multiple violations, like the guy trying to remove Tebow's helmet with his head still inside for one, I was getting a bit upset. Then of course we scored AGAIN and so there - keep your not called penalties and opinions to yourselves!! Nyah Nyah Razzer

Now if Texas Tech can knock Texas down a notch or two....and last I saw, they were doing just that! Maybe we should send FSU a couple cases of bug spray cause they sure can't beat the Yellowjackets on their own!!!

So is anyone else pulling for Mississippi State today? That's a hard call for me as my BFF is UF alumni, but a 'Bama fan. Maybe she needs to get her football priorities in order...LOL

I hope to see some more input on this thread - I am having all the fun it seems!!
