What age would everyone suggest for taking kids to movies? My son is 4 and I know he can, for the most part, sit through a movie at home... for the most part!

I guess every kid is different Val. I know I started taking Tim when he was young and he usually sat through it. If its a kid movie that he wants to see, I'm sure he will sit through it. give him some healthy treats and a good cold drink and he may end up napping on you by the end.

Perhaps, you can do a test run with him and you alone and see how that goes? Make it a mommy and son day.

I just called and told my sister about the film festival for her grand daughter and she is going to look into it for the 3 y/o. she didn't know it existed and on the list was the movie theatre next to her. She said that J would love to see these on the big screen again. Her favorite movie is the Firehouse dog.

My oldest is 3, and he's been going to movies for a couple months now. He's always been pretty good about sitting still -- TV shows and movies have always captured his attention, add popcorn and he doesn't move a muscle!
