Ok so I won't be home most of the evening anyway due to the boys' surprise night out for us girls in our small group but....

I live in a really rough neighborhood...I mean like crime and last week a shooting. I know...prayers please! Well, we bought candy for the kids since there are a lot of them here but I'm quite frankly scared to open the door at night to strangers. As a rule we don't do this but I want to be there for the kids! When we're gone we may stick the candy out in a bowl and say "Take ONE" but we know these kids will run off with the entire bowl probably!

Hmmmm....

aaww.. next year you should sit outside with your husband and maybe some friends and give out the candy- One year when I was living alone I sat outside with a friend and did that- that way it wasn't scary like when you have to open the door and it's dark out-
I'm bummed because now we live in a small neighborhood and there are kids but they don't trick or treat here- so strange.
Happy Halloween!

I used to drive by this neighborhood where kids would throw eggs on my car as I drive by so I know what that's like. However, I never let that stop me from having a good ole time Smiler

Booo!
