Today (for this moment at least) I believe in that little rhyme. I asked my DD if she could help sweep the kitchen floor because (surprise, surprise) the toddler had practically emptied a box of Special K on the floor when I turned my head. And she says "If it's okay with you, can I clean the whole kitchen...and then the living room?"

Haha. Either she's being really sweet or she can't stand the mess another minute...lol!

If she's looking for messes to clean, point her towards my house, LOL! And if that's what having a daughter is like, my next needs to be a girl!

How incredibly sweet! I wish that would carry over to 7 yr old little boys.
I think they inherit that male gene. You know that one that says when they do anything to help out, they need a standing applause. Roll Eyes I love him to death though...little boys are "mommy's boys"

Well my 9-year old BOY always seems to magically disappear when we have chores to do...So, I think THAT must be a boy thing. So glad I have one girl. On the other hand, I now have 3 boys (4 if you count the husband...lol)
