Due to the high cost of food recently, and the low income many of us are facing, I was wondering how many people are actually using coupons?

I am beginning to collect coupons and anyone who is not using them, please forward them to me. We can perhaps meet at the mall on Mondays by the food court. Perhaps create a Coupon club and exchange coupons too!

I was also wondering what Gainesville sun do with all the xtras? do they dispose of them or are they used pratical way? If they are disposed, how can someone like myself get access to them. Advise please?!

I'm mostly only using baby coupons at the moment, and would gladly bring the rest!

I use them alot now. In fact, I just went today to Walmart and got a $6 zippered 3-ring binder and a bunch of trading card sheets and some 8-tab dividers so I can organize them so I can see them. But without my newfound organization, I found that my total was a little over $54 and after my coupons, it was $39. Not too shabby IMHO! $15 or so is probably my average savingings, but I haven't been as bulldogish as some people.

There are some groups that I reccommend. http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/FloridaCouponers. They will send you a survey once you request membership and PM me for my name (they'll ask you for your reference) Also, www.afullcup.com has tons of information on couponing and stuff. I tried to register for that one, but am having a little trouble with my registration. Also don't forget coupons.com and coolsavings.com. And maunfacturer's websites have them too that you can print. For instance, I like the Malt O Meal cereals. I went to their ws and got $1 off coupons off the already less expensive cereal.

I would like to be a part of a coupon swap. I have some coupons that I am not going to use before they expire and I hate to jut through them away.

I would like to propose, if anyone has a great interest, to do a once a month Coupon swap...and to perhaps (we can vote on this or hear other suggestions) meet at the mall food court, maybe every 4th Saturday or Sunday of the month.

I like to compromise because I know everyone's schedule is not the same. So if people can please speak up what day or time is best for them for future refences.

1st meeting
Coupon Swap Club
4th Sunday of month (July 27)
4pm- Food Court Oak Mall

I can be there, Dee. Of course, like life, my schedule may not allow me every month. Especially when the school year starts again. Smiler But I can meet you this Saturday.

Just in case, i did meet at the food court today at 4pm. i was not sure if anyone else showed up. I did look for you Tammy since I remember what you looked like. But didn't see u.

So it looks like people want to meet on SUNDAY, JULY 27 at 4pm at the OAKS MALL FOOD COURT...we will meet at the tables in front of the ROMAN DELIGHT pasta & pizza.

If anyone has extra shoe boxes, please bring them. I'm trying to set up boxes by type of coupons so that when any mom comes looking for coupons it will be organized.

Any mom can come, please bring any type of coupons, as you know even if you won't use it, another mom may have good use for it.

I will be there till 4:30 and if no one shows up, I'll go ahead and leave. If people show, of course I'll stay.

If you need my cell phone number, PM me and I'll be glad to share it.

Safe hugz, Dee

I will do my best to be there today Dee. I wasn't sure if we were meeting Sat of Sun since there was some talk about that. I don't have a lot of coupons, since I just started collecting, but I will bring what I have.

If u can't make it that is ok, we can always meet next month.

I'm hoping our mom's remember with school coming up again that coupons will be good to help save money too. So collect, collect, collect to help save! save! save!

Hope to see u there!

2 things I wanted to mention to you all. First, you can get some great Nestle coupons. Juicy Juice, cookies, other good stuff. Print them out at home. You get a print limit of 2, but it prints one coupon per page, which seemed wasteful to me, so I just figured out how to reinsert the paper and print the second batch on the bottom/back of the first Smiler

http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=13693&nid=20&zid=fh27

Then go to Cheerios.com, join the 6 week challenge, get 6 $1 coupons emailed to you (there's a link you click and then print the coupon.
