Since there seems to be a lot of interest in meet-ups (play dates, nights out, field trips,. etc) I am going to do a monthly calendar of events. I will be working on it this week. Please let me know if you have anything you would like to see on this calendar or any suggestions. I've read through all of the other comments and will definitely keep those in mind. (Just so you don't think you have to re=post those items.) This will make things easier for new members as well.

I can help as far as making it easily editable and accessible online. Of course if you already aren't using one similar to the one one gainesville sun . com or anything else

I should be able to make something that displays a few months at a time (displaying like a normal calendar would) and have an admin end where you can select a day and enter/edit text to display on that day. Up to you, just let me know if you need help.

I think the calendar should only be open to members that have joined, and make it semi-private, and not completely public to everyone...just a thought.

I am glad you mentioned it b/c I was thinking the same thing. I will make the dates public, but not times and places. How does that sound?

Suzy, just noticed that your calendar for meet-ups and Mom's Nites Out lists the August mom's nite out as Friday, August 25. But the 25th is a Monday....Should it be the Friday before (the 22nd) or the next, the 29th? I think I remember you saying we're doing it the last Friday of the month, but just want to be sure. Thanks.
