I miss this every year because I can't wake myself up early enough, but this year I'm going to make it. These trees are absolutely beautiful, and they start at just $3! Plus, my yard is in desperate need of some color.

I think the Crape Myrtle Sale is one of those best-kept secrets in Gainesville. For $30 you can get 10 baby crepe myrtles that will grow into a colorful landscape in a year or two.
My favorite color is that rare deep red, like a burgandy. But they are the first to be snatched up. I'd like to hear what you find and who you meet out there Saturday. |
