I seem to like Facebook a little better. I'm not sure why. I've seen a lot of myspace sites and many are awesome but maybe its this "40ish" brain and I rather not see so much "confustion" or what it appears to me.
Maybe i need to play with it more. I know or I thought I had a myspace site...lol. I just don't remember what it is or where! LOL <<sigh>> maybe I'm just getting old! |

I don't like MySpace and only recently joined Facebook but it seems okay so far. The only gripe I have is the chat features are horrid. I check my stuff online multiple times per day as I am home all day and have a few minutes here and there to do so. I would love to find a site where I could actually link up friends and have chats and share stuff that would work for everyone but I don't think that one has beed re-created online (we used to call it phone calls and sitting on the porch socializing) so far.
I hear far too many reports of bad things coming from MySpace so I prefer not to go there. Just me and my old fashioned mindset maybe but with all the dozens of weekly reports on news channels about predators getting info from there, I would rather not risk it. Not just sexual predators snagging your kids pics (as if that wasn't enough to worry about) but people taking identity info and hacking your other info/accounts. Who has the time to think up this stuff?? |
