The Alachua County Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services is offering its "Summer Food Service Program" for needy children during summer when school breakfasts and lunches aren't available. Check out The Sun's story on the program for more detail, and please pass the info on to anyone in need! There's no requirement, kids just have to be 18 and younger. It's offered June 11-July 29.

That is a great program to provide during the summer. We also provide a Breakfast and Hot Lunch at all our YMCA summer camp locations. That seems to be the kids favorite part of their morning questions asking..."Whats for Lunch?"
