Gainesville 4: Boy (10), Girl (7), Boy (23 months), Boy (3 months) |
Well my little boy woke up with pink eye this morning. Took him to the doc and got his medication. I don't know if this is going around or what...but, just a heads up to you guys. I have no idea where he picked this up...maybe in the church nursery since he's not in day care or school. The biggest headache will be trying to stop the other kids from getting it.

i get it from time to time, just very prone, wear contacts, have bad allergies...
hand sanitizer. use it every chance you get while you have pink eye in your home. i'm surprised your dr didn't give you extra meds for other kids. my dr gives me one for me and one for my son. if i get it, he will too... don't use hand towels in bathroom or kitchen, put a roll of paper towels in there. no one takes a bath together, no matter how much fun they have... good luck, and it can be very painful so some tylenol before bed and some benedryl will help. and lots of hugs from mom always helps and only kiss on top of his head! |

Well that is really good advice! I wish the nurse or doctor would have gone down a list of things like that; that would have been nice because I wouldn't have thought about the paper towels in the bathroom or even bath time. Thanks for the tips, now let's see if the rest of the fam gets through this unscathed!
