There is definitely a serious stomach virus going around. Everyone I talk to has had it andso far this morning my daughter has thrown up on me 3 times and numerous diapers. This is definitely a bad one!!! Anyone have any ideas of any helpful tips with a sick one year old???
My DD was home sick Monday with something. My main advice is to keep her hydrated and give her lots of hugs and kisses. That, and watch her temperature. Hope she feels better!
Poor baby I know how hard it is to have a sick baby. I would so much rather be sick than my baby. You just never feel like you are doing enough. Like Suzy said, be sure you keep her hydrated and keep an eye on the temp.

In the whole year of her life I have never seen her like this I would much rather like you said be sick myself than her. She lays on me for a while then gets down and lays on her blanket then back up to my arms. She is not my smiling sunshine today. IT doesn't even feel right not seeing a thousand smiles before her eyes have been open a good hour. She isn't running a temp but throwing up and diareah really bad so we are going to pick up some more Pedialyte. Thanks for all your support!!!
It is so, so hard to watch our children suffer, isn't it? It hurts us, I know. Pedialyte is a great idea. I usually also pick up lots of snacks like yogurt, pudding, Jell-O. Hope your baby feels better, and hope that you, mommy, feel better as well. Please keep us posted.
Yeah I hate this... I keep a drawer full of yogurt jello pudding applesauce and fruit cups. This is all that is in one drawer that stays stocked in our refrigerator!! She is now sleeping after throwing up again!! I'm not sure she has anything left in there to throw up. I am trying to push the fluids and that is even a task right now. Hopefully this wont last long..
Pedialyte is great. We went to Disney a couple of years ago when Logan was only around a year...we got a rotavirus from the pool! It went from him to Caeli to Ryan to me....it was horrible! We did Gatorade and crackers. Logan couldn't keep anything in him for 2 days but after that he was ok..it seemed to last a couple days for each of us. After that we needed Tylenol..serious headache. But definitely lots of fluids and maybe some crackers...I hope she feels better!
