Buying formula is very expensive, so one thing I've done (both to stretch the formula and for the benefit of my kids) is to blend up the formula and water with some baby food in the blender. Any processed, gloppy baby food will do (although I have to imagine the fruit smoothies taste better than the veggie ones).
And if mommy is still producing milk, then adding in some of that really eases the transition from one liquid food to another. |
