I did last year. I was Alice in Wonderland! I didn't go at alone either, I had two friends dress up with me! My husband and his best friend wouldn't dress up, well, they said that they went as each other! As we went around trick or treating I didn't see many parents dressed up. I didn't know if I was one of the "Special" ones Wink! This year I will more than likely be Goldilocks. Do you dress up with your children?

Short answer -- not really. I do have a Mad Hatter hat I may wear, but not a full costume.

And the hat is mostly sentimental. My wife and I met on Halloween, with me as the Mad Hatter and her as the White Rabbit. Is that kismet, or what?

That's cute Nate! My hubby has a Mad Hatter hat too - but he never wants to dress up as anything. If Macy will ever settle on ONE costume idea, I may dress up to go with hers. We were planning to meet some friends and have the kids dressed as Pebbles and Bamm Bamm and the parents as the Flintstones and Rubbles, but the Dads backed out. Party poopers!!

My daughter told me I was going to be a princees and that I could borrow her one of her magic wands and a tiara. So I guess I will be a princess. She really wants daddy to be a cowboy, but so far he is refusing! I keep telling him he can't disappoint, that he should atleast wear the cowboy hat! No luck yet, but I am still working on it.

My son's first Halloween was the last time we, hubby & me, dressed up. He was Jimmy Hendrix (w/ a big wig) and I was a hippy groupie (w/ a big wig). Some friends threw a 60's themed Halloween party. These friends do not have children and we have not been invited back to their annual halloween party Smiler. My son was a little Superman (5 months old). This year, I think I will just go as a Mom.

Maybe I should go as the Mom from that Suave shampoo commercial, NOT when she gets PG for the third time, but before the shampoo makes her world all better. I have that outfit - many times over!! Razzer

You and me both Michelle.

I haven't dressed up with my kids but I was thinking of doing a theme next year...there are the 4 of us and since my DH is a comic book maniac I was thinking of the Justice League characters or some of the Xmen (Not that I could pull off any of those costumes, but I thought at least I could do Storm...she has a cape.)

I don't dress up in a costume, but I do try to get in the spirit by wearing a Halloween-themed T-shirt. Although maybe I'll buy an inexpensive witch hat or something -- I think that would be fitting. Smiler
