2-year-old daughter |
I was shocked when I read this. The government is warning parents about Carter's Inc. baby garments with tag-less labels after about 400 people developed rashes on their backs.
The clothes causing the problems are from the fall 2007 line, mostly knit items like body suits, shirts and pajamas. But there hasn't been any recall yet, which I was really surprised about. They think it's the tag-less labels causing the problem. The clothes were made in various foreign countries. Click here to read the full article. |

Thanks for the heads' up Stacy! Our kids wear Carter's jammies more than regular clothing, but they are also tagless. I will for sure keep an eye on this!

Every fall I go to the Carter outlet store and stock up on Grace's winter pj's. Now I'll have to keep an eye and ear out and maybe consider another brand this year.
