NW Gainesville 3 boys (1-3 y/o and 2 -1y/o's) and a step-mom and step-grandma, too! |
The Duggars are at it again.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24537885/from/ET/ I've watched one or two of the documentaries on this family, and I find them all a bit odd...anyone else? I mean, the sheer number of kids aside. Their whole, I don't know, personalities, mannerisms, aura, whatever you want to call it, I found a little...off. |

Too funny. I just posted the same thing. I definitely can't relate to the family. They seem nice and all, but like you said ... off.

They almost remind me of a watered-down version of the Polygamist sect moms-- the bangs, the dresses...

“I wasn’t expecting that,” the 20-year-old said. “But it’s been nine months [since the birth of the last baby], so yeah.”
That is what their oldest son said in an interview. Too funny. <a href="http://lilypie.com"><img src="http://b1.lilypie.com/NzoMm7.png" alt="Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker" border="0" /></a> |

Yeah, the mom has this "programmed" look and sound to her, sort of "Stepford" wife-ish. And in one of the documentaries, they had a Q & A session with some of the older kids, answering viewer questions. One question (and a very legitimate question, I thought) was whether or not, with so many, many kids, they get time to be individuals, to have individual pursuits and interests and goals and activities. One of the oldest kids answered, "well, sure, I mean, we all have our favorite flavor of ice cream, and everything."
Duh? |
