now he has won...and has met over the winning delegate number to be nominated.

I think if HC was to be on the ticket as VP- I would for sure be there to vote...well I'll be there to vote anyhow. But it will very powerful if both are together! It needs to be...this is the change. It can and will work if people gave them the chance.

But more power to both of them!!! they have my support!

Apparently I am an oldie here because substance over hype motivates me when it comes to supporting a candidtate for the Oval Office. Had Mr. McCain (a man I do not support) attended a racist church for 20 years, sought the endorcement of people who are proud of their bombing of the Pentagon and someone else who is a convicted crook, had he advocated leaving Iraqi oil and oil revenue to terrorists who are aided by Iran and have called for Israel's and our demise, had he not understood finances as shown by his statements on capital gains taxes, raising the min wage "yearly," had he said he will cut our missile defense systems and end nuclear weaponly at a time when the world is less safe than ever and had he constantly misspoke, changed his position and shown just how 'green" and irresponsible he is, the MEDIA WOULD HAVE CRUCIFIED HIM.

However, with young voters who are aided by a media that has tried to elect our next president since he first announced his intention to run, it is no wonder Obama received the party's nomination. I even feel sorry for Hillary, who received unfiar press and FINALLY saw the bias in the media that Republicans/conservatives face daily.

Mrs. Obama is a threat to this country....physcially and fiscally. He is not only inexperienced and naieve, he is a socialist whose politicies are right on board with the Democrats proposing 9 TRILLION in new spending if/when they take office.

And as a MOTHER, I am disgusted that anyone who even consider supporting a man who voted to not allow medical treatment to BABIES (those born alive in trimesters where they can live healthy outside the womb) who are born after botched abortion procedures. By not voting to help these dying babies who are taken into a second room to die alone, he is a killer. As a Christian, I have to ask WWJD?

But apparently since it's not our own personal body or baby, we just chalk this up to our "right" over that of the child we had growing inside of us. What kind of mothers are we???

I was once a far left Democrat and marching member of NOW. I marched for one decade. After having children, I "saw the light" and started seeing behind the hype and rhetoric....looking at facts that WILL impact my children as they hopefully grow into adults who continue to perform volunteer work, respect their own bodies, follow the teachings of Christ and leave gullibility behind...

Ok...I was't going to respond to this thread because I didn't want to be the outcast or have anyone think I was nuts...but now I am. I am not a huge John McCain supporter, but I am absolutely NOT a Barrack Obama supporter!! I agree with almost everything McInnesmon said...some of what she said I wasn't even aware of. I will be very distressed if Obama wins the election. I do not like his past affiliations and do not understand how America, with the trouble we have faced, is so willing to put us in the hands of this man. I do not feel as though he is trustworthy. He changes his stories to make the public hear what they want to. You can't tell me he associated himself with and was friends with a man like Rev. Jeremiah Wright for more than 20 years and did not know what that person was really like!!

For me, its simple economics. With Obama in the White House, I can already feel the taxes increasing, and more money disappearing from my bank account. Thanks to Bush, there isn't much there to begin with ! But the answer to this isn't more taxes, more entitlement programs, and more government control over my life.
