A fellow blogger recently posted about the contaminated drinking water in public schools in California. She is looking for suggestions about possibly testing the schools in our county...suggestions on where to start. I think that's a great idea, and I am interested in the results! What do you guys think? (Let her know if you get a chance.)

they do test the drinking water in our schools, regularly.

last year, they stopped students from drinking the water at newberry schools, red bagged the water fountains. we found out later that there was an issue at our city water facility. the city found out just about the same time the school board notified them. the whole city had to boil water for a very brief time period. citizens were told the water was ok first, the schools opened the fountains up a day or two later just to be sure the problem was resolved.

once in a while we see them actually looking out for the health of our children.
