I think...OMG! I cannot believe he got prison time. Not because of the charges, but because of who he is. You know how celebrities always get off. I guess he'll forever despise Ocala.

I'm surprised as well...not even because he's a celebrity but because there are so many other who do way worse and don't get prison time...I don't think he was a good person to try an make an example of...
I was just reading about Marc Anthony...he apparently was in a very similar situation but wasn't charged:
6. Marc Anthony - In 2007, Mr. Jennifer Lopez was ordered to pay about $2.5 million in back taxes. Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau said Anthony failed to file returns from 2000 - 2004, a period when he earned $15.5 million. Anthony was never charged with a crime, but two of his associates pleaded guilty to tax felonies.

I guess I should add that what makes me REALLY mad is that these celebrities who drink and drive every other day spend a whooping 82 minutes in jail and they could have killed someone...yet will give someone 3 years who didn't pay taxes...that says something.....

I think the system is backward in so many ways. People doing years and years for selling marijuana, while child predators usually don't get any time at all. A slap on the wrist, if that. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am not condoning selling drugs by any mean, however, if you are going to give THAT guy prison time, then the guy hurting children should get AT LEAST that!
