Today we went for my 15 month olds allergy test.. which was ROUGH. They came to the conclusion that she is allergic to CHICKEN. I never imagined that would be her allergy. So obviously no more chicken for us, but what child doesn't like chicken nuggets and so on... I am in search of new recipes for meals with beef, lean porks, and sooome fish..all though the only fish I eat is tilapia. We have always ate a lot of chicken so this is tough. If you have any good recipes please send them my way..

Oh no! Look at the good side; you get to avoid all the hormones pumped into chicken these days. Are all children supposed to get an allergy test or did you just notice a problem? I'm not a fish person but I cook salmon with honey mustard on top as a glaze and it is sweet and takes away that fish taste.

Any and every chicken less recipes are wanted.. LOL. I had to go shopping and you would be surprised at what all has some sort of chicken something in it. It has been a while since I have been on here since my computer crashed but the last time I was I was discussing eczema with some mommies on here. My daughter was diagnosed with eczema and it was only getting worse. They thought it was whole milk then they said eggs or peanuts when that didnt work..finally I said enough is enough she wasnt getting better..her face kept a horrible rash on it that actually ended up with a staff infection. So her pediatrician said lets allergy test her..ok it wasn't a fun test by far. they basically pricked her back with 50 needles all labelled with a number on her back. Then you have to wait 20 minutes of which she was trying to claw her back up. NOT FUN!! But, they finally came to the answer that she is allergic to chicken. I have never heard of such a thing but guess it is more common than I thought. So, since we eat a lot of chicken it will be a challenge. So any recipes with out chicken will help us a great deal!!! Thanks for all your help!!
