Hi. I am thirty and have two kids. The oldest, a boy, is 14 years old. My baby girl is 20 months. My husband and I are thinking about having another. There are two issues with that. The first is that our son does not want us to have another child. He loves his little sister very much and says that she is all we need. The other issue is that with both of my pregnancies I had preeclampsia. With my son, I went full term, but my daughter came seven weeks early. She gave us quite a scare, which I think is part of my son's thought process. I was wondering if any of you have had preterm babies and then went on to have full term pregnancies? Thanks for ANY input.

I cannot speak to the pre-term issue. All of mine were full-term and even late, so I am hoping some of the other moms can give you advice on that. But, I remember when I got pregnant with this baby, the kids were not very happy. "We only need one baby," I remember my son saying. The baby (number 3) was and still is quite a handful. But now that this little one is almost here, they are getting really excited.
