A good vet who is not crazy expensive like many of the ones around me. Does anyone use Banfield?

We take our dogs to Shores Animal Hosp. on NW 13th Street. I don't know about price difference. I think that they are all kind of pricey, but you could call.

Shores, yes, we've used Dr. Shores since I was a small child and my parents took our pets to Shores...now we take ours. They are good, kind, animal-loving vets. Same as jeter, I don't know about price-wise, but for us, I can't put a price tag on their services, because they love our pets almost as much as we do...I took a pet to a different place YEARS ago because it was a closer drive..they treated that pet as more of a science project...unfeeling and insensitive in dealing with me when the pet died. So it was back to Shores for us with never a regret.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Shores! My parents took our animals there and of course that is where we take ours now. They truly do care not only about your animals but about you. We have had 2 dogs that have gone to doggie heaven and with each one Dr. Shores has sent us a sympathy card. We actually had to put one of them down and about 2 months after we got a package from Shores Animal Hospital. It was a plaque with a poem on it that was made special with Sadie's name and an impression of her paw. The entire family boo-hoo cried over it. I would NEVER willingly take my animals anywhere else.... they are just that good! Smiler

Yup, we have gotten the same thing for several pets...and it's always a very particular, personalized, handwritten sympathy note, not just some computer-generated card with a stamped signature. Dr. Shores and his staff are the BEST!
