I love your "year in review" post! I too, along with a few friends, have decided we are going to lose some excess as well and hope with the support of friends, instead of strangers, it wil be easier and more fun most importantly. I am also going to your plan of using the smaller plate for my meals and I will prepare the plate in the kitchen and eat in another room rather than have a serving dish in arm's reach, making it tempting to have more. I hope I can have the success you did!!
