I can't even listen to these sorts of stories anymore. The other day the "local news reports" came on the radio while I was off in another world...but I heard one half of a sentence "mom who killed her baby with a microwave..." and immediately changed the station. It's just too much to think about and I'll never understand.

Yeah, I heard about that one too and did the same as you did - I couldn't even read about it. Sometimes, it is just too much to take in.

Every time I read or hear about these stories, I get so angered inside. I just don't understand how people can allow a precious baby or child to be so neglected.
I think the worst thing is that I feel helpless to help the child I read about. I want to rewind and go snatch that child from the place and rescue him/her to raise them myself. Tammy |
