I am really annoyed at this school. I mean, there are things out there that we should really be concerned about, and this is not one of them. This is where I say, Give me a break!

Hubby and I were talking about this the other day. I said the same thing...you would think they'd focus on more important issues, like teaching our children and keeping them safe from drugs and violence.
But isn't he going to a charter school? Our personal experience with a charter school didn't go so great, so I'm not surprised that they've made this out to be such a huge issue! It all really is STUPID if you ask me. |

Yes, I think he is going to (or was) a charter school and the mom apparently pulled him out. Because to her, it was about more than a haircut. It was about the principle. Yeah, I think she's a cool momma...

Ok - we build jails by the number of kids who can't read by 3rd grade. We have a HUGE drop out percentage in our high schools. We're even GRADUATING kids who can't read...
And he gets suspended for his hair cut???? Oh Lordy what are we coming to in this country?? Part-time mom to 30+ needy kids all ages, all sizes and all colors |
