I asked 'King of what?' and she gave me the most bewildered look and said 'king of halloween of course' - duh Mommy!! (I said that, not her) With more asking it turns out she wants to be a mermaid like the kind in Dora Saves the Mermaids so she can wear a crown. So now I have this great idea of how to make her costume in my head....but getting it out of there will be the real trick!
The boy we are dressing as a Ghost Hunter since we found a cammo T-shirt in black, grey and white but the designs are ghosts. Also because I watch those shows a lot! I'm going to use the dozens of remotes we have laying around and cover them with kraft paper and foil to make the gadgets and gizmos for him. Funny, last year he was a ghost...now a ghost hunter!
My hubby and I LOVE Ghost Hunters! Are you going to put 'TAPS' on his black shirt??

Well I am hoping to either find a black button front shirt he can wear over the ghost/cammo one (you know cammo = hunter so ghost cammo = ghost hunter) and same with pants but the big problem find right now is a solid black hat I can letter! I am not even sure how to do the lettering but I know I will think of something! (stickers even) I know they wear jeans on the show or even khaki cargo pants/shorts so we may stick with that for the extra gadget pockets. I even considered looking for a blue workshirt I could put the Roto-Rooter patches on... LOL!!

Karen, you should enter her into some costume contests. You would surely win!

Karen that is so cute!! I ordered our Diego and baby Jaguar costumes the other day, and they've already been shipped! I can't wait -- they should be here soon. I was kind of disappointed because I searched every store in town for those costumes, and didn't find them anywhere. I thought Diego was a popular character -- maybe not as much as I thought.

Is anyone in need of a costume? I picked up this pink pegasus costume at a garage sale for 50 cents this summer. It fits my 3 year old. I think its from Dragon Tales. I found this pic on craigslist and this is what it looks like. Free to whomever needs a little girl costume.

Well, I wasn't very happy about my daughter's new Belle costume this weekend. You can read about it in my blog. I paid way too much for way too little.
