OK, so we have a single "car seat" stroller, an umbrella stoller, and a "front to back" double stroller. That thing is as big as my first car! It's a monster, and, while having tons of room to pack and store stuff, it's a beast to maneuver and drive. I can almost swear I've seen "double side-by-side" umbrella strollers, but have not had any luck finding one anywhere in town. I saw a side-by-side regular stroller at ToysRUs, but it looks almost as unweildy and bulky as the double front-to-back, just the bulk is distrubted differently.

Has anyone ever seen a side-by-side double umbrella, or did I just dream it up? And does anyone use the double-side-by-side, and found it to be easier than it looks? Any comments would be appreciated, before I go out and buy one of everything, just to be prepared for anything (and my husband kills me: "back in the old days, they didn't even have double strollers, we don't need one, are you crazy, what's with all this junk?") Razzer

Thanks, moms!

The stroller we had they we loved was a sit n stand...you can put a baby or a carrier in the front and then the older child can either sit or stand in the back...it totally saved us! Here is one similar to ours...best part for us was it folds down pretty small and isn't as wide as a double stroller, so it's easier to maneuver.
